Tricks to slim your faces

Here are some tricks to make your face look more slim.
If you have a big face don't be so serious here are some trick to make a slim face by highlighting and shading.

1. When it comes to makeup, dark shades recede, while light colors bring features forward. To use this idea to your advantage, you’ll need a contour color or matte bronzer one or two shades deeper than your skin tone and a luminous highlighter that’s a bit lighter than your complexion. You can use cream or powder textures, or a combination of the two. No matter which formula you choose, be sure to use a makeup brush to blend — streaky contour makeup is a major don’t.

2. Create the illusion of thinner cheeks by applying your contour shade in a diagonal line from the center of your cheek to the ear. Make a slight “fish face” while you do this to figure out the perfect placement, and don’t forget to blend. The higher you place your contour shade, the sharper your cheekbones will look. Swipe highlighter across the tops of the cheekbones to really bring out the contour.
3. Fake a thinner nose: swipe a contour powder down the sides of the bridge of your nose (stop before you get to the nostrils). Blend highlighter down the bridge of your nose in a vertical line.
4. To never have a double chin in photos again, apply bronzer along your jawline to define the area. Blend the shade to create a seamless contour.

5. Play up your eyes, and leave your lips natural with a tinted balm or gloss. Full lips can emphasize roundness on the face, but eyes made to look large with makeup will make the rest of the face appear smaller in comparison.

6. Choose the right eyebrow shape. A higher, more pronounced arch helps balance out a round face by vertically stretching its appearance.

7. Highlight the center of your face. Blend highlighter between your brows, on the bridge of the nose, on the Cupid’s bow above your upper lip and in the center of your chin. This technique will help bring these features forward to downplay the width of your face.

8. Don’t forget your forehead! Blend your contour shade into the temples and around the hairline to emphasize the angles of your bone structure.

Hope it's help you

How to do smoky eyes

Smoky eyes make your makeup become more fun and it's create new look.

Here are several step to do smoky eyes.

1. Choose your colors. Any color can be used to create a smoky eye, although you will need at least three shades of a similar hue. The classic smoky eye is created with black or gray, but bronze and brown are also commonly used.
  • Green eyes look particularly good with a gray and plum smoky eye, while blue eyes pop with gold or copper and brown eyes go great with shades of navy and gray .
  • You should choose three shades of each color: a light, creamy color, a medium base color, and a dark smoky color.
  • Avoid choosing colors that are too bright, or if you have very fair skin too dark. You want your smoky eye to accentuate your pretty face, not to distract from it.

2. Use the right supplies. Although it may be quick and easy to choose the first three complementary shades of eyeshadow you find with a sponge applicator, the perfect smoky eye is created using the right supplies.
  • Using loose powders gives you the best blending ability, which is necessary for creating a great smoky eye. You have the ability to use pressed powders and cream shadows as well, but for the best look find loose eyeshadow.
  • Use pitch-black eyeliner to accentuate your smoky eye. You have the option of using a pencil, cream, or liquid eyeliner, and any will work just fine. Cream and liquid eyeliners give a very smooth finish, while a pencil eyeliner gives a softer blended look.
  • Be sure to use good quality makeup brushes. Using dirty, old, or sponge brushes will create a smeared look that doesn’t blend. The best makeup brush for a smoky eye is a domed eyeshadow brush, which is rounded at the top. You can find these at many beauty supply stores.
  • Be sure have a concealer and eyeshadow primer to prep your lids before applying the smoky eye. Use a concealer brush to apply both.
  • Have a large fluffy brush, makeup remover and q-tips on hand to fix any mistakes or loose shadow on your cheeks.

3. Apply your face makeup. Before you put on your smoky eye, you should create your neutral palette. Apply concealer under your eyes and on any dark or red spots, and then apply a powder foundation over the top to set it.
  • You have the option of applying blush or bronzer to add dimension to your face. For a bronzer, sweep it into the hollows of your cheeks with a large fluffy brush. To apply a blush, blend it into the apples of your cheeks. Remember to apply both lightly, for the most natural look.
  • Make sure your eyebrows are well-shaped and colored, as the smoky eye will draw attention to them. Having brows that are too thin or light will make your smoky eye look too dark and unnatural.

How to apply blush correctly

How to apply blush correctly

It's easy to apply blush and it use just a small amount of time.

Here are 11 step how to apply blush.

  1. First choose the color using nature as your guide. According to InStyle, the trick is to find a color that matches your cheeks when they're flushed after exercise or being out in the cold. For a quick test, "spank" your cheeks and use the resulting color as a guide. (We suggest doing this in the comfort of your home away from other people, wink). Another trick is to match your lip color. Fair skin looks great in rose, olive in peach & dark skin in apricot or even red.
  2. Now that you have the color, choose the right formula for your skin type. Powder is typically best for oily and combo skin. Cream is great for dry skin. Liquid and gel are great for oily skin. For even better results, combine cream and powder together. "It helps my blush stay on longer and looks more luminous," said makeup artist Laura Mercier in O Magazine. Keep in mind stains -- great for well-moisturized skin, not dry skin -- tend to dry very fast so blend well and fast.
  3. Apply foundation, eye color &andlipstick. While blush is usually your second-to-last makeup step (before powder), you should experiment with what works best for you. Some makeup artists like to apply blush BEFORE foundation for a more "natural" look.
  1. Throw out the freebie "Barbie-size" blush brush that comes with the blush. Use a professional full brush instead (I like MAC's blush brush No. 116), but don't use the same brush you use for your powder.
  2. Put the blush on your brush, tapping off any excess or put a dab of gel on your fingers.
  3. Look into the mirror and smile. This helps you figure out where the "apple" of your cheek is.
  4. Since you want a healthy flush, it's best to apply blush only to apples of your cheeks. Keep color light and blended. If you're using gel or cream, NYC makeup artist Carlo Geraci (in O Magazine) suggests dabbing it on with your middle finger, then blend with your ring and middle finger. The clean finger will pick up any excess blush.
  5. If you've gone a bit too heavy on the powder blush, a bit of translucent powder over it will calm it down. For cream blush, blot the color off with a tissue. Since gel and liquid blush "stain" the cheeks, the only way to lighten them is it wash your face, moisturize and reapply your makeup, this time more sparingly.
  6. Finish your look with a sweep of translucent powder.
  7. Extra tip: For a sun-kissed sheen dab bronzer on your forehead, chin and nose BEFORE you apply the blush. To make sure it doesn't look like a stripe, use "a big brush and a light hand," suggests makeup artist Bobbi Brown in Lucky Magazine. See my list of the best bronzer.
  8. Expert tip: Feel free to experiment with different ways of shading. Makeup artist Shane Paish suggests in InStyle, to try a C-shape shading. To do this, apply a sheer highlighting powder in a c-shape from your temples to your cheekbones. It should go from the center of your brow bone to the center of your cheek, Paish said, "like the shape of a parenthesis."

Tips:
  1. Clean your brushes with baby wipes. If you don't keep your brushes clean, they'll gather bacteria and transfer it to your skin.
  2. For a sexy look, dab a little shimmery blush on the highest point of your cheekbone nearest your eye.
  3. Using powder blush? Always sweep it in one direction. Going over and over or around and around causes streaks and can hurt your brush.
  4. Cream blush is great for mature skin. It blends easily and therefore looks very natural. For gel or cream blush, dab a dot on the apple of the cheek and two smaller dots up the cheekbone. Blend the dots together up to the hairline.
  5. Dusky pink blush will warm up any tired-looking skin

How to make your makeup last longer

Every morning you have to wake up and spent lots of time wearing your make up and it's so annoying that you have to redo it again during the day. Our life should be easier if you follow this step which make your make up last longer.

1
Wash your face. Washing away dirt, sebum and old makeup will help your fresh makeup stay in place a lot longer. If you put fresh makeup on a dirty face, it'll tend to slip off or flake away.
  • Wash your face in the morning, before putting on makeup.
  • Don't use harsh soap on your face. It can cause irritation and dryness, which will make your makeup come off sooner.

2
Exfoliate a few times a week. Dead skin tends to accumulate on the face, especially with age, so it's important to exfoliate a few times a week to remove it. Putting makeup over dead skin will cause it to flake off during the day. Your makeup will look, feel and behave better on a smooth, exfoliated face.
  • You can use a facial brush to lightly brush the dead skin from your face. Rub it in circles, never pressing too hard.
  • homemade sugar scrub also works well as a gentle exfoliant.
  • Don't forget your lips! They need to be exfoliated, too, in order for lipstick to stay in place.

3
Moisturize. For oily skin, buy an oil free or gel moisturizer, and for dry skin buy a more nourishing one. Make sure to get a moisturizer with at least SPF 15 in it to protect you skin from the sun, or a separate SPF 45 if you live in a sunny place. If you are older, you can use a moisturizer with anti-wrinkle properties.
  • Don't use a rich, creamy moisturizer during the day. It could make your face too slick for your makeup.

Tips: Also PRIMER is a good product for you to think about because it's also help your makeup last a little longer. Also buy product that said long wear or water proof. It's will help.

Tips to pick the perfect foundation

Choosing a new foundation is one of the hardest things to do. You need to choose a foundation that match your skin tone and skin type. Also the layer of the foundation is one of the most important things for you to consider.

Here are several tips fort you to choose a new foundation.
1.Try Before You Buy
Not all makeup should be tried before you buy, but foundation is definitely one of them that you should ALWAYS be tried first. You can't always judge a foundation color by its bottle.
2.How to Buy From a Department Store
Foundation is one of those beauty items you should splurge on if you can afford to. The best foundations can be found at department stores where makeup artists can help you pick out that perfect shade.

3.How to Buy Foundation from a Drugstore
If you're buying from a drugstore, do your research first. I include many drugstore brands.
Choose a drugstore with a liberal return policy like Rite Aid or CVS Pharmacy. Hopefully they have tester bottles that you can use to try out in the drugstore. If not, purchase a few bottles to try out. If you hit the jackpot on your first try, you can return the unopened items. If you don't, you can still return the others. But buying a few at once will save you from several trips to the store.
4.Testing Out the Shades: A How-To
When testing out shades, it's best to show up at the makeup counter with a clean, fresh face. It's OK to wear eye makeup or lipstick, even moisturizer on your face, but you don't want to show up already wearing foundation.
The best shade for you is one that disappears on your face. To test, apply a stroke of up to three colors on a cheek or even better, the jawline (the inner wrist or hand aren't the best spots, contrary to popular belief).
Once you find that perfect fit, check it out in natural light. Ask to borrow a hand mirror and stand near a doorway, or step outside, to see which foundation looks best in the natural light.
If you are purchasing from a drugstore that doesn't have testers, take a couple bottles to a doorway, hold them up to your neck and see which one matches the best or if you have a favorite shade you want to match, match the colors of the bottles, never the swatch on the display.

5.What's the Right Formula for Your Skin?
When choosing a foundation it's best to know your skin type. Foundations are formulated for oily, dry, mature, normal, sensitive skin. Keep in mind that most women's skin type changes with the weather. In winter, you might be dry, while in summer you might be oily. Also, lots of women actually have combination skin, which means they are oily in the T-zone and dry everywhere else.
If your skin is oily, look for words like "oil-free," "oil-control" or "mattifying" on the bottle.
Women with dry skin should look for moisturizing foundations with "hydrating" or "moisture-rich" wording on the bottle. Foundations containing glycerin glide on easily.
For combination skin, determine if you're more oily or dry and go from there. Cream-to-powder bases work great for combination skin. Mineral foundations work well on all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
Mature, aging skin can benefit from foundations formulated for that skin type.

6. Coverage: Do You Want Light, Medium or Heavy?
Step 2 in choosing a foundation is to figure out the coverage you want. This may also be seasonal. You may choose lighter coverage in summer and a heavier, creamier coverage in colder months.
If you have good skin, but want to even out a few ruddy areas, consider a light coverage. If your skin tone is uneven and you have blemishes, consider a medium-coverage foundation. Most medium-coverage foundations can be built upon to create a heavier coverage.
7. What's the Big Deal About Yellow Vs. Pink Shades?
If you read about foundations in any beauty book or magazine, you will likely read about yellow- and pink-based shades. Makeup expert Bobbi Brown recommends most women use yellow-based foundations, which look most natural on all skin tones. Pink shades can be better for women with very fair skin.
I personally think you don't need to worry about yellow and pinks when buying a foundation because just looking at the bottle and trying to determine its base may only lead to confusion. You absolutely can find a good foundation for you without ever knowing whether it's yellow or pink.

8. SPF or No SPF?
Many foundations these days come with SPF but the amount (usually about 15 SPF) is never enough to properly protect you. You should always supplement with an SPF of at least 40 worn under the foundation.

Prepare you skin before makeup

Before putting on your make up. Prepare your skin is a very important step.

These are several ways to prepare your face skin….

Prepare the skin
1.Always before applying makeup prepare the skin properly. First, clean the face from all impurities and dirt by removing them with a special face cleansing lotion I love using simple cleanser as it suits all skin types and save a fortune. The skin has to face every day aggressive external factors, which leads to dead cell formation; you must remove them every time you apply makeup.

2. This is just an extra option on some occasions depending on how long you have, Nobody likes     clumped up makeup, so get rid of the main culprit to this beauty faux pas – dead skin cells! Exfoliating says hasta la vista to the dead skin cells that have not already left the skin’s surface, uncovering the new smooth skin below. Look for a gentle daily exfoliate scrub with small granules that are circular in shape. And don’t forget to exfoliate the neck! Rinse well so makeup doesn’t cake or thicken when applied. 3. This is a commonly skipped step, but an important one. Use a serum before applying a moisturiser to infuse additional rich vitamins and minerals into your skin. Post-exfoliation is the perfect time for applying a serum because the pores, which tend to trap in makeup and excess oil, have just had a deep cleaning. 4. Use a moisturiser that suits the skin type and offers day-long hydration. This will plump up the skin, providing a smooth, even surface for makeup application. A little goes a long way! Remember to use a moisturiser with SPF. Press the moisturiser onto your skin instead of rubbing it in. This will stimulate the skin cells and allow the ingredients to properly seep into your skin without compromising the product’s
properties.

5. A face primer is one of models’ best kept secrets. For the final pre-makeup skin treatment, look for a primer with silicone as a main ingredient. An added benefit is that a primer acts as a protective barrier preventing your moisturiser and skin’s oils from mixing with your makeup. A primer sets the stage for flawless makeup application
